Spring Break in Memphis

On our Spring Break this year we traveled to Memphis to visit Kristie's family. We spent a lot of time just hanging out and having fun. One day, we took the kids to the Memphis Zoo which is very nice. We also had a big family get-together one day at the boys' Great-grandma Fruitt's house.

(L to R): Grandma Glenda, Lauren, Jacob, Aaron, Derek, Grandpa, and Kristie

Boys obviously LOVE to climb things -- here they decide that Grandpa's storytelling will be much more interesting if they are all perched up on the Suburban's hood.

Wiggle -- Wiggle -- POP!

After losing his two front teeth (the second came out just a few days later) we jokingly called Derek "the Pit Bull". He was excited about getting his "permanent" teeth though, and liked the whistling sound he could make with the new gap in his smile.

Happy Birthday Aaron - 10 Years Old!

On March 9, Aaron turned 10 years old! Hard to believe that it was a decade ago when little Aaron made his way into the world during a big snowstorm in Anderson, IN.

For his birthday, Aaron and a few friends played LaserTag and had a great time. And, completely surprising Aaron, he got a new go-kart for his birthday. Too much snow still on the ground to run it that day, but we're all looking forward to hours of racing it around this summer.

Aaron and his friends celebrate pre-LaserTag. (From L to R clockwise around table): Derek (drinking soda), Ben, Gabe, Matthew, Aaron, Evan, Tyler, and Jacob

Aaron grins ear to ear as Derek sits behind the wheel. Not to be left out, little Jacob straps on a helmet and awaits his turn!
